چکیده

Тhe disappointing results of epidemiological studies in recent years continue to attract the attention scientists obesity – one most acute medical and social problems our time. In last few decades, adipose tissue has been regarded as an immunobiological endocrine organ that secretes a large number hormones, adipokines growth factors play important role regulating energy homeostasis variety immune processes. The latest molecular genetic, immunometabolic, morphological microbiological force approach study this complex issue from different angles. One them is change work system conditions overweight, which based on formation chronic nonspecific inflammation. presented review examines pathogenetic mechanisms inflammatory process against background obesity, development several stages are currently conditionally distinguished: adipocyte hypertrophy, hypoxia, necrosis, cellular infiltration fibrosis. article also analyzes modern scientific data relationship inflammation with complications physiological characteristics child’s body, can be link metabolic disorders. addition, authors discuss possible connection various phenotypes violation implementation certain area there significant amount disagreement unresolved issues. Further key points underlying disorders disease.

Obesity: An Immunometabolic Perspective

Obesity, characterized by chronic activation of inflammatory pathways, is a critical factor contributing to insulin resistance (IR) and type 2 diabetes (T2D). Free fatty acids (FFAs) are increased in obesity and are implicated as proximate causes of IR and induction of inflammatory signaling in adipose, liver, muscle, and pancreas. Cells of the innate immune system produce cytokines, and other ...

Pathophysiologic mechanisms of obesity- and chronic inflammation-related genes in etiology of polycystic ovary syndrome

Objective(s): One of the common heterogeneous reproductive disorders in women of childbearing age is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is characterized by lack of fertility due to anovulatory cycles, hyperandrogenemia, polycystic ovaries, hyperinsulinemia, and obesity. Both reproductive anomalies and metabolic disorders are involved in PCOS pathology. Although the r...

Magnesium, inflammation, and obesity in chronic disease.

About 60% of adults in the United States do not consume the estimated average requirement for magnesium, but widespread pathological conditions attributed to magnesium deficiency have not been reported. Nevertheless, low magnesium status has been associated with numerous pathological conditions characterized as having a chronic inflammatory stress component. In humans, deficient magnesium intak...

Parallels in Immunometabolic Adipose Tissue Dysfunction with Ageing and Obesity

Ageing, like obesity, is often associated with alterations in metabolic and inflammatory processes resulting in morbidity from diseases characterised by poor metabolic control, insulin insensitivity, and inflammation. Ageing populations also exhibit a decline in immune competence referred to as immunosenescence, which contributes to, or might be driven by chronic, low-grade inflammation termed ...
